Bountiful Bar Soap

LeBountiful Bar Soap

I had not realized until asked to describe it for this article that Butterfly (a talented employee of) had created a soap using the LeBountiful blend that I love so much! I must go find one immediately!

The most wonderful thing, to my mind, about the LeBountiful essential oil blend is that it never fails to create feelings of security, abundance, thankfulness, and generosity in my soul when I smell it. Imagine taking a relaxing (and invigorating) bath in such an aroma!

This blend seems to bring the blessing of heaven down on my head, or maybe it is only that I notice them more and realize how blessed my life has been and how often heaven has aided me through trials of various and, sometimes, rather scary and serious!

LeBountiful, literally and truly, alters and clears our thinking about money issues and lessons the stress we feel in these areas. It simply moderates, or evaporates altogether, any feeling that there is never going to be enough and that there is certainly not enough for everybody to have what they think they need. The absence of these fearful feelings helps us eliminate even the slightest tendencies to greed and selfishness.

LeBountiful has a profound effect on the things we worry about and how we choose to respond to these situations that keep us awake at night and in a state of turmoil during the day.

Butterfly Express currently carries a marvelous line of vitamins and other supplements. For this month’s topic of Women’s Health, this includes a Multi+ Women’s Vitamin Supplement and Prenatal Gels + DHA. Side note: Butterfly also carries a Men’s Multi+ Vitamin Supplement that is on sale this month.

Let’s take just a moment to talk about the Prenatal + DHA gels. DHA stands for docosahexaenoic acid—now there is a mouthful! DHA is an Omega-3 fatty acid. Why is it found in these prenatal gel caps? DHA is important for the development of eye and nerve tissue! What pregnant woman does not want this nutrient for its benefits to both her baby’s development and her own health during this critical time of increased nutritional needs? DHA, according to studies, is showing promise in the reduction of heart and circulatory diseases!

If you look at the label on this prenatal vitamin, you will see the phrase “+ Borage Oil (GLA)”. Simply put, your body needs the right kind of fats to lose fat. Gamma linolenic acid is one of the right kinds to turn on your body’s fat-burning network (among other delightful things)! GLA makes a certain kind of prostaglandin (a fat that works like a hormone) to activate and increase metabolism.

EndoRelief Essential Oil Blend

As women, we have many roles, most of them important to the health and happiness of our families! We are wives and sweethearts, mothers, confidants to our children (hopefully), neighbors, friends, teachers, and for many of us, we are the first line of defense and care when accidents or illnesses occur to those we love! I don’t know about you, but for me, each of these defining roles brings me great joy and satisfaction. However, there is little joy and little effectiveness as we try to fulfill these tasks and do them well if we, ourselves, do not have the health and energy to do so!

The endocrine system is made up of many organs, each with its own special functions — alone and in tandem with each other! LeEndoRelief can have a beneficial effect on any ailment that is related to endocrine organs such as the thyroid, pancreas, pineal and pituitary glands, parathyroid, thymus, and adrenal glands. With the improved endocrine function that LeEndoRelief can play a key role in helping us achieve, comes improved vitality and energy. Even our emotional health improves.

For many years now, anyone coming into contact with my husband with the beginnings of a cold or with the least bit of a sniffle will likely find themselves getting their neck, and anywhere else he can get them to reach (chest, armpits, etc.), rubbed down with LeEndoRelief!

Clary Sage Essential Oil

Clary Sage is a good oil for those who, when overtired, become hypersensitive and either weep or find fault with everyone around them. My own mother, who suffered from some distressing health issues (I believe that many of them were tied to hormone imbalances), could on some days be described in this way. She would tell my very gentle and calm father that she was just an ‘overly sensitive’ person. He would respond, with a smile and a hug as he talked her into a nap or some ‘down-time’ that perhaps — at the moment, at least — ‘senseless’ was a better description of her present state of mind and behavior. It was one of the delightful ways my parents were together and a delightful memory for their children!

Clary Sage moderates excessive estrogen and yin energy. It is very effective for PMS, menstrual problems and cramping, infertility, frigidity and impotence, and some of the difficulties experienced during menopause. An excess of estrogen is linked to several women’s cancers.

Clary Sage is useful in kidney infections, sore throat, and bronchial infections. It strengthens cellular structure and regulates cellular activity. It is an excellent oil, especially as part of a blend, for muscular fatigue and excessive perspiration. Clary Sage is found in a total of 7 essential oil blends at Butterfly Express. (I could go on and on about the uses of this wonderful woman’s essential oil.)

Solace Essential Oil Blend

Each of the essential oils in LeSolace has a special affinity for the lymphatic system. Without good lymphatic drainage throughout the body, good health cannot possibly be achieved, and the aging process will be accelerated!

The lymphatic vessels form a one-way system. Lymph flows only toward the heart and flows only when pressure builds up in the intercellular spaces. Muscular tension (such as during movement and when exercising or working hard), pressure changes in the chest brought about by deep and effective breathing, good hydration, and the smooth muscles in the walls of the larger lymph vessels create this type of healthy pressure.

The lymphatic system collects excess lymph fluid, immune and infection-fighting cells, fats, and unneeded or unhealthy proteins from the tissues. In simpler terms, the lymphatic system is a filtering system that is an integral and necessary part of immune function!

LeSolace was created by a very talented, long-time employee of Butterfly Express, LLC for a very sick friend of hers. It was designed to lift her spirits, help her to heal, and let her know how loved she is. She created a blend that is very effective a bringing the body back into a state of balance, soothing the emotions, while conveying a sense of hope! At the same time, she achieved a blend that promotes a healthier lymphatic system, balances hormones, relieves the pain of lymphatic congestion, and benefits nearly every system of the body.

Patchouli Essential Oil

Patchouli is an essential part of 11 blends at Butterfly Express, but is beloved by many people as a single. I remember having rubbed my husband’s healing skin following a terrible burn and then entering a gas station/market. The young man ringing up my order all but jumped over the counter to hug me because he smelled the patchouli on my hands as I handed him my payment!

Patchouli seems to be especially suited to people who pay too little attention to their health, as they ‘run faster than they have strength’ in pursuit of the many things they want to do and experience. Eventually, and almost without warning, they collapse and, if not properly handled, develop health issues that trouble them for a lifetime.

This is an essential oil that I have come to love on so many levels. One such aspect is a better perspective on money, material possessions, or ‘lack of abundance and lack of gratitude emotions’ that may have crept up on us without our realizing it! I love patchouli when working with physical exhaustion and fatigue of any kind. This wonderfully aromatic oil is also one of the great tissue regenerating oils (hence my use of it on my husband’s healing burned skin). Helpful for everything from scarring to rashes, eczema, and bacterial or fungal infections. It also helps the liver and kidneys in their important functions of clearing toxins from the body.

Woman Wise Essential Oil Blend

LeWoman Wise was one of the very first blends that I created in the very early days of my essential oil education and experimentation. This blend has been ‘tweaked’ just a little bit here and there over the intervening years as our understanding of essential oils and hormones has grown. This blend was a blessing in my life.

Emotions can certainly get all out of whack when our hormones are out of balance. This blend can be very helpful in these emotionally changing moods as women’s natural cycles play out. Sometimes, the best way to understand this blend is to try it—notice how its hormone-balancing oils can reveal which of our behaviors stem from hormonal shifts, and which are simply unhelpful habits or manipulative patterns we’re better off leaving behind.

LeWoman Wise was specifically created to help balance the hormones of younger women. (Yes, I was one of those “younger women” back in those days!) LeBalance is a better blend for me, and for women of my generation nowadays.

Ylang II Essential Oil

The distillation of the delicate flowers of Ylang Ylang is a complex process. The product that is extracted two hours after the distillation process begins is referred to in the industry as the “extra.” This distillation is extremely heady, potent, and overly sweet, and is not used in aromatherapy applications. Ylang Ylang is distilled in batches over time. As the process continues, the oil changes as different components are distilled off at different times. Ylang Complete is a re-blending of all the batches, however many batches that is with a particular distiller. It is generally more expensive and has an almost over-bearing and overstimulating aroma. However, it certainly does have a place in healing and in balancing hormones! Butterfly Express carries both Ylang Complete and Ylang II

In aromatherapy, Ylang II is the more commonly used Ylang and the one that I usually prefer for single use. Both oils are used in blending

Ylang Ylang balances the male-female energies and hormones in the body by stimulating the adrenal and thymus glands. Along with the hormone-balancing properties of Ylang Ylang, there is a host of benefits to the nervous system. As Ylang Ylang’s hormonal properties work in conjunction with its nervine properties, Ylang Ylang becomes exceptionally effective for depression, irritability, anxiety, rapid breathing, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, hypertension, nervous tension, physical and mental exhaustion, nervousness, and insomnia. Ylang Ylang is also excellent for routine skin care, more serious skin problems, and hair loss. Ylang Ylang is also used to regulate circulation, fight intestinal infections, and alleviate constipation. All this, along with being useful for the symptoms of PMS and other hormone-related problems.

While I really don’t much care for the heady aroma of Ylang Ylang, I love to blend with it. Blending with such an oil allows a person to obtain all the benefits of that oil, coupled with the benefits and synergy of the other ingredients. The difference between a well-done blend and using the oils in the blend singly is like enjoying the ingredients of a chocolate cake one by one, or enjoying them when made into a well-done chocolate cake!

Featured Herbs for Women's Health

Featured Herbs for Women’s Health

Red Clover

Red Clover is a gentle but very effective blood and liver cleanser. Red Clover has action on the entire system through the gentle and gradual purifying of the blood. Red Clover specifically strengthens the immune system. This herb is generally an ingredient in anti-infectious formulas, rather than being used by itself as an infection fighter. Used in combination with Yarrow and Elderflower, Red Clover is very potent!
Red Clover has been used for the treatment of menopausal symptoms for many years. It also exerts a protective effect on the heart and on circulation. It is now thought that Red Clover may be helpful in preventing or treating breast cancer. For me, a formula containing Red Clover is a part of every day’s herbal regimen! Important note: Estrogenic-like herbs DO NOT create estrogen-like effects in women who have sufficient or too much estrogen. More studies need to be conducted on these herbs that produce estrogen-like effects, but the studies need to be done using the whole herb and not just the extracted constituents.

Used by itself or with herbs such as Comfrey, Red Clover aids in the rebuilding of the cartilage in damaged knees or backs where the discs have been compressed. We have seen this effect, in amazing and undeniable ways, many times over the years in our family and among friends, neighbors, and customers!

Horsetail

Here, with Horsetail, is one of nature’s miracle cures and overall nutritious herbs!

Horsetail is most noted for its silica (silicon) content, which is very high and remarkably soluble. Studies, many of them, have found that broken bones do not heal well, even in the presence of high levels of calcium, if there are insufficient amounts of silicon available in the blood. This interaction between calcium and silicon makes this herb valuable to strengthen hair and nails, and to prevent the formation of gallstones and kidney stones.

Horsetail is one of the best diuretic and kidney support herbs available. Besides strengthening and toning the urinary tract, Horsetail is listed as one of those herbs that help prevent, or even dissolve, kidney stones. Being both astringent and hemostatic, Horsetail is particularly indicated when there is bleeding within the urinary system. While handling the bleeding, Horsetail speeds the repair of damaged connective tissue, improving its strength and elasticity.

Horsetail is a key ingredient in the KB (Kidney/Bladder) formula which I have taken nearly every day of my life since, many years ago (nearly 50 years), it was suggested that I have a kidney removed before attempting another pregnancy. The kidney is still there and, usually, quite happy! Horsetail is also an ingredient in the PRT (Prostate) formula.

Horsetail is high in vitamin E and selenium, and is certainly much cheaper than taking a supplement of vitamin E. Other rather unusual nutrients found in Horsetail include both iron and iodine, as well as cobalt, copper, and manganese.

Raspberry Leaf

Raspberry leaf is frequently used by women during pregnancy. Raspberry Leaf is a mild astringent which gently contracts and tones the entire reproductive system. The hormones of pregnancy loosen muscle structures so that the uterus and surrounding muscles can stretch to accommodate the growing fetus. This loosening often results in the interesting symptoms of pregnancy such as constipation (or occasionally diarrhea), frequent urination, bleeding gums, and pain in joints and tendons. Raspberry Leaf, taken as a tea or tincture, greatly reduces these symptoms while still allowing the uterus to expand and the hips to move apart as needed. How can it do both things at the same time? Herbs bring the body into a state of balance.

Raspberry Leaf is often overlooked (I have certainly been guilty here) by herbalists when not dealing with the symptoms of pregnancy. Raspberry Leaf could be used with good benefit in most cases of diarrhea, constipation, stomach and intestinal upset, and hemorrhoids. It should be considered by diabetics to stabilize the pancreas. Raspberry Leaf is frequently used for sore mouth, sore throat, and spongy gums. It is a main ingredient in formulas that are used in the eyes.

YW

This formula is meant for women in their childbearing years and the years preceding menopause and is one of the first—and, I might add, effective of the formulas I have created over these many years!  It will often, if taken for a month or two, straighten out irregular periods, heavy clotting, profuse flow, menstrual cramping, premenstrual headaches, and premenstrual tension. Many times, once the underlying hormone issues that are causing the above symptoms have cleared up, infertility issues also disappear.

YW is also helpful with kidney, liver, and bladder problems in women, and is essential for prolapsing uterus or bladder situations.

Consider Sepia Blessed Water/Homeopathic in addition to this formula if there is any sagging of tissues, displacement of organs such as the uterus and the bladder. The emotional pattern that calls for this Blessed Water/Homeopathic remedy is feelings of being overwhelmed by family (or work) related responsibilities. Never enough time or energy for all that needs to be done!

MW

MW is a formula for women past childbearing age who are experiencing symptoms of hormone imbalance, such as hot flashes, night sweats, tissue dryness, or headaches. After menopause, estrogen still needs to be produced by the body, but this production no longer occurs in the ovaries. The MW formula provides the nutrients needed for the change over to occur smoothly and symptom-free. Menopause need not be a miserable experience, nor does life after menopause need to be full of unpleasant symptoms.

This formula has helped a great many women, including myself, go through menopause gracefully—and happily, I might add!

Make sure mineral and vitamin intake is adequate by taking KNA or MIN. Add LeBalance and LeEndoRelief essential oil blends for more complete symptom relief.

MH

Yes, I know that this month’s topic is Women’s Heath and MH (Men’s Herbs) is for men! However, I also know that very few women can manage good health and good attitudes when their men are sick and/or cranky! I think that this formula needs to be a daily addition to every man’s health care routine!

MH promotes prostate, kidney, and bladder health, as well as providing minerals needed to handle daily stress. MH is most effective when used with LeBalance and LeEndoRelief essential oil blends. Ginseng, both white and red extractions, are wonderful ingredients and an important aspect of this men’s formula.

Featured Homeopathic Remedies for Women's Health

Featured Homeopathic Remedies for Women's HealthFeatured Blessed Waters for Women’s Health

For most of my many years as an ‘alternative’ medicine person, I have generally preferred using homeopathic remedies as single, not combined formula, remedies. However, such usage requires a greater knowledge and understanding of homeopathic principles and prescribing than most people have time—or energy—to achieve. As I have taught classes and worked with customers through the years, I have found that lower-potency combination remedies have a place—an important and effective place—in natural healing! They are safe and effective!

I will discuss this month’s 4 chosen low-potency combinations first, today, and then the 3 chosen single remedies that are especially effective for women’s health (among many other uses).

Hormone Balancer

This Hormone Balancer formula is made up of only two homeopathic remedies. They are Wild Ginseng and Damiana. Both of these plants are world-renowned as healers on many levels, hormone balance being one of their greatest strengths. Ginseng is more than just useful for nearly any and all malfunctions of the reproductive organs and systems; it is absolutely phenomenal and almost unbelievable in this realm of healing and balancing!

Damiana is another great invigorator of the system—with a particular affinity for sexual weakness, hormonal imbalances, and glandular dysfunction. It is said to dispel fatigue and restore clearness of mind.

Vaginitis

This remedy should probably be renamed because it is far more than a remedy useful for the symptoms of vaginitis. Two of the three remedies in this combination are very specific for menstrual issues as well as for other hormone related symptoms.

For example, one of the ingredients is listed for use with erratic menstrual cycles and menses that are sometimes scanty or delayed and then, other times, are early and profuse. As is true of all BlessedWater/Homeopathic remedies, there are also emotional symptoms associated with this ingredient. Populus candicans (Balm of Gilead) is mentioned in the Bible as being a relief from such emotions as despair and anguish.

Another ingredient is listed as specific for backache during menses, leucorrhea, and eruptions and itching of the vulva.

The third ingredient is specific to the liver. The liver is, of course, often the source and certainly a contributor to hormonal and menstrual issues.

Acne

This is a very simple remedy containing only two single remedies. Both remedies are, however, very often indicated for a great many things—both for women and men—than acne. I will give you a brief summary of each remedy as it relates to acne and a few other things.

KALI MURIATICUM (potassium chloride) This cell salt enhances the integrity of the cells in the epidermis. The symptom picture includes eruptions containing thick, white or cream-colored pus on forehead, face, lips and chin. This type of acne often indicates improper digestion of rich or fatty foods and sluggish action of the liver. Restless, anxious sleep, discontent, irritability, and anger are some of the emotional symptoms. (Sounds like a teenager or a person suffering from hormonal imbalances to me!)

SILICA TERRA (pure flint) This is the #1 remedy for expelling foreign objects and infections from the body (Really and truly expelling slivers, etc). The remedy picture includes unhealthy skin and constant suppuration. The mental/emotional symptoms include loss of self-confidence, performance anxiety, and complaints brought on by anticipation of failure. The person is usually prone to procrastination.

Incontinence

This important and effective remedy contains 5 single remedies covering a wide variety of urinary issues, especially in aging women or women whose childbearing has wreaked a bit of havoc on their bladders. (One of my favorite quotes for pregnant women is “Your bladder—each child’s favorite punching toy”, as the little person, in utero, kicks and punches throughout the day and night!

Some keynote symptoms indicating that this remedy would be helpful are: 1) fatigue brought on by striving to have everything done and done to perfection in your daily life, 2) burning sensation on urinating with or without a kidney infection being present, 3) Involuntary passage of urine when coughing or sneezing, urine dribbles or passes slowly, involuntary retention of urine after labor or after surgical procedures, 4) bladder paralysis, bed-wetting, need to urinate immediately after every drink of water, and a frequent need to urinate due to irritation at the neck of the bladder.

One of the ingredients, Nat mur, has the unusual symptom picture of difficulty urinating in the presence of others (bashful bladder). I have seen this in a post-partum (after labor and delivery) mother and, as far as I know, there is no better way to deal with this emotion than this remedy. The ailments of Nat mur are usually accompanied by depression and feelings of isolation and/or were brought on by grief—either acute or chronic. There is also pain just after urination, and a need to urinate that comes on very suddenly—can’t control the flow, and the urine is clear with red sediment.

When kidney symptoms appear, there is almost always some sort of underlying fear in the emotions somewhere.

Sepia succus

Sepia succus is considered to be the #1 women’s polycrest remedy (meaning useful for most women several times during their lives)! Here are just a few—very few—keynotes of this remedy. Hormonal disorders, bearing down sensations in the pelvic region as though everything is about to fall out, a tendency to miscarriage, a weak bladder, constipation, hot flashes, hypertension, menstrual disorders, morning sickness, premenstrual syndrome, hormonal imbalances during puberty, urinary incontinence, prolapsed uterus, vaginitis, varicose veins, sciatica, strokes, sties, and toothaches.

Emotionally, those in need of Sepia and mentally and physically exhausted. There may be self-pity and feelings of being overwhelmed by family responsibilities. This is a key-note remedy for postpartum depression!

In Materia Medicas (books describing symptom pictures of remedies), Sepia always takes up several pages!

Sabina officinalis

A keynote and very useful aspect of this remedy is its use for menses that is too profuse, too early, with gushing of bright red blood mixed with dark clots. This description sounds very much like what occurs when a woman (or teen) has developed fibroids and the body is trying to bleed them off. Sabina (Savine, as it is sometimes referred to) is certainly indicated for this horrible problem.

Another keynote is pain between sacrum and pubis. In other words, the entire lower abdominal area. The pains will suddenly increase and then slowly dissipate, feeling much like labor pains. This remedy is also useful for retained placenta after childbirth and a great many ailments common to women.

Calcarea carbonica

This remedy is the keynote remedy of the family of Calcarea (calcium based) homeopathic remedies. I hardly know where to start describing this polycrest-for-nearly-everyone remedy. My favorite Materia Medica uses 8 pages to describe this remedy.

One of the most important aspects of this remedy to me is its dramatic effect on nutrition and malnutrition—the inability of the body to uptake nutrients properly! Imbalances that may be helped by this remedy often begin very early in life. In fact, difficulties with breastfeeding for both mom and baby are keynotes.

Bone diseases, including decaying bones and teeth and joint disorders, eye disorders, glandular swellings, and difficulty with teething in children. With the inability to uptake nutrients that is key to this remedy, there is very little bodily and mental dysfunction that cannot be a symptom—and, therefore, ameliorated—by this remedy. Kidney issues are prevalent when this remedy is needed.

Mental picture includes forgetful, worried, apprehensive, with nightmares and poor sleep, to name just a few symptoms.

Featured Essential Oil Blend

Expressions Essential Oil BlendLeExpressions Essential Oil Blend

I still remember my first tiny little bottle of Osmanthus essential oil. As you may have noted, Osmanthus is a very expensive essential oil but in my experience worth every penny (or dollar)! Years ago, my husband suggested that I try to make a blend with it that would maintain the properties of the osmanthus but be a little less expensive so that more people would be able to afford—and enjoy—osmanthus. I tried. But, that wonderful oil seemed to be wanting only to blend with Jasmine and some cistus. The result was the blend LeCherish, which is still one of my favorites today!

However, the passage of time and the gaining of experience in the blending of essential oils led to the blend LeExpressions. The LeExpressions blend contains Frankincense, Rose, Sandalwood, Jasmine, and Ylang. These oils are some of the highest frequency, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally balancing and healing essential oils. The recent addition of Osmanthus to this blend adds yet another layer of emotional and spiritual balance. The synergy of this blend makes it even more effective than any of its single essential oils when used alone.

While not as expensive as Osmanthus alone, this blend is still a rather pricey oil. Fortunately, the aroma is often all that you need, and when you do need to apply the oil to your body, one drop is sufficient.

LeExpressions is an excellent oil for hormone balancing and the emotional problems associated with PMS. This is also an excellent oil to keep spirits and confidence levels high during childbirth. The essential oils comprising this blend increase skin elasticity. It should be used for skin care, to minimize and reduce stretch marks, and to reduce scarring. As a former midwife, I came to appreciate this wonderful blend a great deal, both before and after the addition of osmanthus.

Chaste Tree Essential OilChaste Tree Essential Oil

On the Butterfly Expressions webpage and in the books I have written, Butterfly Miracles with Essential Oils and Butterfly Miracles with Herbal Remedies, there is a wealth of information! Sadly, there is a lot of literature about the herbal uses of Chaste Tree, but far less documentation of experience with essential oil extractions. However, claims have been made—and years of personal experience have borne this out—that Chaste Tree essential oil enhances the production of progesterone. You may think, at first, that progesterone is the last thing most females need to bring balance to their hormones. This, sadly, is not true! Even more importantly, many of the cancers common to females are estrogen (meaning estrogen/progesterone imbalance) driven!

Chaste Tree, in herbal form, is used for polycystic ovarian syndrome, uterine fibroids, infertility, and miscarriages due to luteal phase defects. (This type of miscarriage is described briefly on page 124 of the herbal book mentioned above.) Essential oils have the same therapeutic properties as the plants from which they are made. The therapeutic properties are more concentrated in the essential oil, often making them even more effective than in the herbal form.

Chaste Tree is not generally recommended for diffusion. This makes sense to me because when I am working with this essential oil I can feel the “hit” my hormones are taking. My husband has often remarked on similar sensations. Of course, if you are wearing an essential oil, everyone in the room is getting a bit of it. That should be taken into consideration.

CAUTIONS: Chaste Tree is strongly contraindicated for pregnancy, except possibly to prevent early miscarriage in women with problems in the luteal phase of the pregnancy (mentioned above). There is just not enough information or studies done on this topic yet—that I can find. It is well known, however, that Chaste Tree has a dramatic effect on hormones. That is enough of a reason to leave this essential oil completely alone during a pregnancy.

Featured Carrier Oil for Women's Health

Featured Carrier Oil for Women's HealthPalm MCT Carrier Oil

Palm oil has been used for beauty treatments for thousands of years, and is found in many products today, from soaps and shampoos to cosmetics and lotions. But, instead of utilizing commercial products that contain palm oil, I find that using it as a carrier oil for my favorite skin-nourishing essential oils makes far better sense!

Palm oil has outstanding moisturizing properties that can help combat the tendency to dry skin issues. Palm oil, as a carrier oil, leaves the skin feeling nourished and supple. Palm oil contains natural antioxidants, some of which are even stronger and more effective than vitamin E, which is also found in palm oil. Such natural antioxidants have been shown to have anti-aging properties.
