The end of summer and the upcoming return to school for children, teens, and college students can be a stressful time for everyone involved, including parents. This seems to be true to some extent, no matter the age of the child or even how well the previous school year went. And then, the school day usually requires the student to focus and pay attention while sitting at a desk—something many children find quite difficult. Then there are the issues of getting homework done and back to school with the children, young or old!
The remedies focused on as specials and offered at discounted prices, were chosen with these issues in mind. However, as you will quickly see from the product descriptions, they address energy levels, the ability to focus and pay attention, and handling anxiety from any cause and in any type of situation.

Bloom Brite Tea is a vibrant herbal blend designed to help calm the mind while gently boosting mental clarity. Made with hibiscus, lemongrass, lemon balm, and rosehips, this flavorful tea has a smooth, fruity taste with tangy citrus notes—perfect for sipping hot or iced as part of your daily self-care routine.
What sets Bloom Brite apart is its natural support for attention, focus, and anxiety. Lemon Balm is a key ingredient known for its calming properties that help ease nervous tension and anxiety. It also supports brain function, making it easier to stay clear-headed and focused throughout the day. Lemongrass complements this by helping to relieve stress while nourishing the body with essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, C, folate, folic acid, magnesium, zinc, copper, iron, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, and manganese that support cognitive and emotional health. Together, they create a calming but energizing effect—ideal for moments when you need to center yourself or concentrate on a task.
Hibiscus and Rosehips not only add a delicious tart flavor but also antioxidant-rich support for overall wellness. While their primary benefits include heart and immune support, they also help reduce inflammation, which is often linked to stress and fatigue, factors that can affect focus and mental clarity.
To brew, bring water to a boil and steep 1–2 teaspoons of Bloom Brite Tea for 3–5 minutes in an infuser or disposable tea bag. Remove the tea leaves, add sweetener if desired, and enjoy a cup of calm clarity.
The Calm Kids Blessed Water Kit is a thoughtfully crafted kit of homeopathic remedies made from flower essences—infusions of blossoms in spring water, preserved with a small amount of alcohol. These gentle yet powerful remedies work on an energetic level to help restore balance and calm without overwhelming the body or mind. Safe for children, adults, the elderly, and even animals, flower essences offer natural support for emotional and energetic well-being.
This collection includes four unique blends designed to nurture your child’s emotional health through the ups and downs of daily life:
Five Flower Formula – This soothing blend is perfect for moments of stress, overwhelm, or emotional upset. Whether your child is facing a tough transition, a meltdown, or just a rough day, Five Flower Formula brings calm, stability, and emotional grounding. It’s like a reset button for the nervous system.
Focus – Made with a thoughtful combination of flower essences to support mental clarity, alertness, and learning. It helps with staying present, reducing daydreaming or distraction, and boosting overall engagement—great for school, homework time, or any activity that requires attention.
Poise – Poise is all about helping kids feel strong, secure, and confident in who they are. It’s especially helpful for shy, sensitive, or self-doubting children who may need extra encouragement to try new things, make friends, or speak up.
Rest – This blend supports relaxation, especially for kids who are wired, overstimulated, or have trouble settling down at bedtime. It quiets mental chatter, releases tension, and brings a sense of inner peace—perfect for a calm bedtime routine or a mid-day moment of rest.
Using flower essences is simple and flexible. Add 2–4 drops directly under the tongue, into a glass of water, or in a water bottle to sip throughout the day. You can also rub them on the skin, add them to a bath, or mist them into the air using a spray bottle. They’re gentle enough for daily use and easy to incorporate into any routine.
Witch Hazel is one of those tried-and-true remedies that’s been around for ages—and for good reason. Made from the bark, leaves, and stems of the Hamamelis virginiana shrub (native to North America), it’s been used for generations by Native Americans and early settlers to treat a wide variety of skin issues.
It’s best known for its anti-inflammatory and astringent properties, which means it helps calm irritated skin, reduce redness, and tighten pores. That makes it a go-to for acne, eczema, and psoriasis. It also works great on bug bites, poison ivy, and even sunburns—just dab it on or spritz it as a cooling spray.
Witch Hazel isn’t just for your face either. You can add it to your shampoo or apply it directly to your scalp to help with dandruff, itching, and tenderness. It’s even been studied for use on cold sores—the natural tannins in Witch Hazel have antiviral effects that may help them heal faster. Plus, it’s handy for treating small cuts, scrapes, or minor wounds. All in all, Witch Hazel is a simple, natural way to take care of your skin from head to toe.

They are easy to carry in a purse or pocket. At home or at work, inhalers fit nicely into a desk or cupboard drawer. You can simply pull them out, take a whiff, and not have anyone around you complaining or being bothered by the aroma of an open bottle. Having just taken a whiff of LeAmbition as I began this article and with LeIQ dribbled on my left wrist and LeKadence on my right wrist, I am feeling better than I have for quite some time! (What has been going on with me? The result of a run-in with a dental drug a few weeks ago.)

This is a tremendously effective blend for working with the digestive system as a whole, with particular emphasis on the liver and the gallbladder. LeAmbition also contains essential oils that are helpful to the urinary and reproductive systems. All this in a synergistic blend that allows—as is best—unified improvement in all of these areas at once!
LeAmbition was formulated to be an energizing and rejuvenating blend, and it has certainly stepped up in those areas. I find that, when I am in doubt or hesitant to confront a new, unfamiliar, and a bit daunting project or situation, LeAmbition is what I reach for. It seems to calm my spirit, open my mind to new ideas, and remove negativity and hesitation. I am better able to make decisions and see that they are carried out without forgetting about or ignoring the needs of those around me.
LeAmbition is an amazing essential oil blend to use when recovering from illness and when under an unusual, or even customary, amount of stress.

If you are in need of a midday pick-me-up or just a bit more mental alertness and concentration to finish a project, this essential oil should be reached for. Since I am not particularly fond of (actually dislike) the aroma of coffee, I prefer to use the blend, LeAutumn, when I want the benefits of this essential oil. The blend called LeAutumn also contains Cassia (Cinnamonum cassia) and Sweet Orange (an oil which I love in any form or blend).
Both Coffee essential oil and the LeAutumn blend, especially diffused in the morning, are refreshing and seem to improve both creativity and efficiency! This is especially true if your mood needs lifting or there are stressful feelings to be alleviated. Coffee oil has a reputation for being highly efficient in dealing with numerous disorders related to the nervous system. These include mental or emotional stress, anxiety, ADHD, and depression.
There are some cautions listed for coffee as an essential oil. It is not advised for use with pregnant women or with small children.
How can a blend be anything but amazing with Sandalwood as part of the formulation?! Add Frankincense, Cedarwood, Cypress, and Helichrysum, and you have a powerful blend indeed. Of course, the other ingredients are also there for good reasons! LeIQ has, to my mind, the most pleasing aroma and the highest frequency of all the blends for mental alertness, and it is certainly my personal favorite! At least this was true until LeKadence, discussed next, was formulated.
As stated above, LeIQ contains Frankincense, Sandalwood, and Helichrysum. Each of these oils is high in a constituent known as sesquiterpenes. These precious little molecules cross the blood/brain barrier to cleanse, nourish, and carry oxygen to the brain. In addition, this blend appears to dissolve some types of chemicals and clear them from the receptor sites, which should be feeding the pituitary, pineal, and hypothalamus glands if they were not being blocked by these chemicals.
LeIQ, as the name implies, increases mental alertness and acuity, as well as concentration and memory. A powerfully stimulating blend, LeIQ is effective for recovering from jet lag or just when feeling faint or even following an injury when early symptoms of shock are being seen.

Inhaling any peppermint oil is like inhaling a rush of fresh energy. It does this by relaxing the mind and body instead of allowing anxiety in the mind to become tension in the body! Peppermint, both the essential oil and the herb, is particularly useful for people whose mental and/or emotional states swing back and forth between intense highs and lows!
Peppermint oil distilled from the piperita plant is the most common and popular type of peppermint oil. However, Peppermint Corn Mint, which is distilled from the arvensis variety of peppermint, generally contains more menthol than Peppermint piperita. This gives the corn mint variety a sweeter but stronger aroma.
Peppermint arvensis (corn mint) boosts energy and improves focus, concentration, and mental clarity. It accomplishes all this while clearing congestion and easing breathing difficulties, as well as aiding in the management of digestive discomforts such as nausea and bloating.

LeKadence is a relatively simple blend. However, that does not lessen its amazingly powerful and effective properties. Cedarwood is the base note of this blend and is a dynamic essential oil all by itself. An oil from the spice family, Allspice brings relief from depression, nervous exhaustion, tension, stress, and even physical symptoms that are worsened by emotional stress.
The focus of LeKadence is the exhaustion, both mental and physical, that is associated with too much work and worry. It accomplishes this by improving the uptake of nutrients to the brain and nervous system. LeKadence helps to alleviate exhaustion in whatever form it has taken in the body and mind, and is especially useful when recovering from deep-seated or extended illnesses.
The components of LeKadence are similar to those of LeGoodNite, but the addition of the delightfully spicy aroma of Allspice completely changes the aroma, usages, and frequency of this very aromatic and pleasing blend. Sometimes sleep patterns are interrupted by nervous exhaustion, physical weakness, and worry. The body needs sleep so badly, but just cannot seem to rest. LeKadence, with the same oils that make LeGoodNite effective at achieving restful sleep, can be helpful here. The addition of Allspice aids the rejuvenation of the cells as the body rests, but it is not an oil that will keep you awake when you don’t want to be.
LeKadence brings vitality to the heart chakra and the heart muscle. It reduces inflammation in and around the heart and pericardial sac. LeKadence is often effective for quieting heart palpitations, especially those brought on by worrying. This blend is useful for dizziness and vertigo.

Saro is uplifting and, depending on circumstances and the person applying it, can be both energizing physically while being calming emotionally. One of the specific attributes of Saro is that it creates less olfactory fatigue than other essential oils with “cinnamo-” in their family names. This is a gentle, yet powerfully effective essential oil. Saro is an excellent aid to studying as it clears the mind, improves mental alertness, concentration, and memory.
Other descriptive words for the uses of this beautiful oil might include recovery from lethargy, situations where shock may be impending, and lack of self-confidence. Besides the many emotional and energy-stimulating effects of Saro, this oil is also of benefit to the respiratory, digestive, and immune systems.
Scientific information I just can’t resist sharing with you: Saro (Cinnamosma fragrans) is a member of the Canellaceae family. The Latin binomial name, Cinnamosma fragrans, can be simply but accurately translated to “Cinnamon smell”, with Cinnamosma indicating ‘cinnamon’ and fragrans indicating ‘fragrant’. However, in spite of its name, Saro has only a whisper of cinnamon-like aroma. Rather, the aroma of Saro. To my nose, Saro more closely resembles some of the aromatic notes in Fragonia and Laurel.
Butterfly Express, LLC carries several essential oils from the Cinnamomum plant genus—Lauraceae family. It should not be much of a surprise that they have startlingly different aromas and even different uses. Some examples: Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora), Howood (Cinnamomum camphora var. linalooliferum), Cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum var. zeylanicum), Cassia (Cinnamomum cassia), and Cinnamon Berry (Cinnamomum polyandrum). All are considered useful for working with stress-related conditions such as headache, insomnia, indigestion, and various other forms of nervous tension.

BT was formulated, at least at first, to help kids and adults with ADHD and anxiety. It has proven to be so much more than just a remedy for learning disabilities and anxiety attacks.
A personal story–I hope you don’t mind! I am getting older and there have been some instances of diminished mental acuity in some members of my family as they age. My mother walked this very difficult and heart-breaking road. I began taking this tincture combination, rather sporadically I must admit, as soon as I learned about it. With the passing of our son a few months ago, my mind—at least the ability to remember things I have known for years or even why I had gone downstairs or into a room—seemed to be slipping away. I panicked! And I felt more than just a little bit of despair. People around me kept telling me it was only grief and would pass. Really? Maybe it would have, but I can tell you that I got very faithful about taking this tincture three times a day, every day. Being me, I also took a look at the ingredients and became very impressed by the efforts of the employee who created this tincture combination!
Several of the herbs in the combination are renowned for promoting circulation, and therefore oxygen, to the brain. Some of the herbs contained are noted for their ability to reduce stress, calm nervous tension, and ease anxiety brought on by just about any cause or situation. Other herbs contained are noted for extending mental clarity into old age.
BT combination does all this by gently nourishing the nerves and strengthening the tiny blood vessels and capillaries that feed the brain. The herbs, a couple of which were unfamiliar to me, are noted for the variety of vitamins, minerals, etc. that they contain. This tincture is not only appropriate but recommended as a long-term daily supplement. I intend to take it for the rest of my days as I am beginning to remember what it used to feel like to be me mentally!
The medicinal properties of elderberries and elderflowers have been recognized for generations! Elderberries are rich in Vitamin C (off the charts), Vitamin A, and some very useful flavonoids. Elderberries are antioxidant powerhouses and may prevent cell damage even in the toxic environment that modern life has created for each of us. Elderflowers are considered to be one of the mildest but one of the most versatile and effective of herbs. Elderflowers can act as mild sedatives and even as analgesics for the relief of pain.
When combined with chamomile flowers, lemon balm, and passionflower, this blend promotes a deeply restful and refreshing sleep by calming the body and mind after times of stress.
Ginkgo improves blood flow through the arteries that feed the brain and also strengthens small veins and capillaries. As a result, Ginkgo has been considered throughout the herbal world for generations to reduce the odds of stroke as it strengthens tiny vessels and capillaries throughout brain tissue. Improvement is also seen with issues like tinnitus, vertigo, headaches, depression, poor concentration, and short-term memory loss. It is considered one of the great herbs for extending mental acuity into old age. Besides improving circulation to the brain, neural activity is also enhanced by Ginkgo.
My favorite way to utilize the healing capabilities of Ginkgo biloba is to combine it with Dong Quai. Why? Because Dong Quai, traditionally, has been used for many, many years to improve cognitive function, lower blood pressure, prevent atherosclerosis and blood clots, relax the heart muscle, aid in the absorption and utilization of Vitamin E and iron, stabilize blood sugar, and a host of other things as well.
Because Ashwagandha improves neuron impulses throughout the nervous system, strengthens and rebuilds nerve cells, and relaxes tension in the neural synapses of the brain, it is considered effective for memory issues.
Ashwagandha is called “Indian Ginseng” because it is used in Ayurvedic medicine in much the same way as Ginseng is used in Chinese medicine. These uses include improving overall vitality, especially in those who are suffering from overwork or nervous exhaustion, and in recovery from chronic illnesses.
Research trials in 1960 indicated that this herb increases hemoglobin levels and improves thyroid and adrenal function. This makes sense since Ashwagandha contains iron. A unique feature of Ashwagandha is that research indicates that it helps prevent the depletion of Vitamin C when the body is under stress.
Lemon Balm has been used as far back as the Middle Ages to reduce stress and anxiety, promote sleep, improve appetite, and ease the pain and discomfort of indigestion. Many people use Lemon Balm for anxiety, sleep problems associated with anxiety, and overall restlessness and inability to concentrate or even sit still (ADHD and other learning disabilities). Lemon Balm improves cognitive function, boosts memory, focus, and mental clarity as it improves circulation to the brain and reduces oxidative stress. (I have been experiencing these results myself lately.)
Lemon Balm has also been used for Graves’ disease which involves the thyroid, rapid heartbeat due to nervousness, high blood pressure, and even for skin sores, and insect bites.
I planted Lemon Balm in my herb garden 2 years ago and I have struggled with rescuing it from the catnip I planted too nearby. I am happy to report that the lemon balm is doing wonderfully this year! I particularly love lemon balm as an herbal tea so having it fresh in my yard (and freeze-dried for winter) is making me very happy indeed!
This herb is traditionally used to improve intellectual capacity, memory, and concentration in elderly patients. I think these results may be the result of the calming effect that this mild poppy has on the nervous system in relieving nervous tension and anxiety. By calming the nervous system, California Poppy influences the heart and circulation by slowing rapid heartbeats, relieving palpitations, and reducing blood pressure. California Poppy is not considered to be a narcotic and can be taken safely in either teas or tinctures.
I don’t want to move on without mentioning one of California Poppy’s ability to relax muscles, even though that is not today’s topic. The relaxing of muscles has an effect on many anxiety-related problems such as stress-related gut problems, IBS, colic, and even the pain of gallbladder issues. Tension headaches also respond well to low doses of California Poppy.
From a Chinese medicine point of view, California Poppy cools heat in the mind, making it an excellent remedy for irritability, over-achieving, over-analyzing, and for OCD.

Featured Blessed Waters for Attention, Focus & AnxietyThere are three blessed water remedies in this combination. One is Aconitum napellus and it is a polycrest (useful for many people at some time in their lives) remedy for accidents or illnesses that came on suddenly and/or were severe enough to induce shock, great anxiety, or intense fear. Coldness and numbness all over the body are keynotes of this remedy. This remedy is almost always appropriate as a first response to a panic attack and impending, or even advanced, shock. Other symptoms may include the presence of nightmares, phobias, insomnia, despair from pain, and panic attacks.
Hypericum perforatum (St. John’s Wort), in both herbal or Blessed Water/Homeopathic form, has been used for many, many years in the treatment of a wide range of nervous disorders. Keynotes: depression, especially depression following injuries to nerve-rich areas of the body, especially when healing will be long, and intense shooting pains are present. I would suggest this remedy, alone or in this combination, for learning disabilities that include omitting letters, mistakes in speaking, using words out of order or incorrectly, and for the anxiety that such problems create.
The third remedy in this combination is Piper Methysticum (Kava Kava). This remedy is a perfect illustration of a too-often unmentioned aspect of homeopathic theory and usage. Put simply, this is that if a substance from which a remedy is made excites the mind and body and makes emotions more intense, it will also be a remedy for the opposite of these reactions. Strange, I know, but very true and often seen. Symptoms that would respond to this remedy include mental tension, constrictive feelings of the chest and stomach, heavy sensation behind the upper part of the sternum, insomnia, neuralgias, and nerve pains. Symptoms will be eased by movement and worsened by sitting still or needing to concentrate on mental work of some sort.
This very effective remedy consists of only two remedies. Both remedies are polycrests for nervousness and anxiety.
Secale cornutum is a remedy for restlessness, anxiety, extreme debility, and prostration, stinging neuralgic pains which burn like fire, numbness, twitching, and spasms of muscles. Contraction and then dilation of blood vessels with palpitations and erratic pulse may develop making the person feel sad, suspicious, and afraid. Symptoms are worse from heat but better for cold applications or open air.
Tuberculinum bovinum is the nosode of the Tuberculosis miasm. (The theory and study of miasms is a very interesting study. It explains so much about personality and behavior.) Keynotes are deep feelings of being unfulfilled, with a desire to travel or take a new job. There will be a sensation of suffocation and depression with malicious behavior. Physical symptoms include heaviness and pressure over the heart with palpitations on taking a deep breath. Things get worse in a small room and in the evening.
This remedy is composed of the Blessed Water remedies made from German Chamomile, Hops, and the Cell Salt remedy made from Potassium phosphate.
Chamomiles (both Roman and German) are very mild, but extremely important polycrest remedies for any hypersensitivity of the nervous system. One keynote of this remedy is that the person is dissatisfied with everything and can turn suddenly spiteful and irritable. Another keynote is that the person lives in the past, dwelling on past irritations and slights by other people.
Like all remedies containing phosphorus, Kali phosphoricum is a remedy for mental and physical exhaustion caused by overwork, overexcite, or worry. There is a great sensitivity to light and noise and sleeplessness because the mind is over-active with worry.
Hops (Humulus lupulus) is for those persons who are highly agitated or excitable. Other symptoms include mental confusion, violent pulsating of temporal and carotid arteries, frequent startling from deep sleep, dull headache with dizziness, and a weak and slow pulse.
This remedy aids with stress and tension which can lead to chronic pain, neck and back tension, and even MS.
Ambra grisea—symptoms include extreme hypertension, anxiety, weakness brought on by age or overwork, stiffness in loins from sitting very long, and a sensation of coldness and numbness in spots. The symptoms are worse from the presence of others and worse from embarrassment or any type of worry.
Cinchona officinalis—A few of the many symptoms of this polycrest remedy are insomnia from fantasies, oversensitivity to noise, intense throbbing of the head and the carotids, sleeplessness from an overactive mind, irritability, heavy pressure on the sacrum, and cold hands and feet.
Cuprum acetate—A great many of the symptoms of Cuprum are in the head. A few of these are violent throbbing and sharp pains in the forehead, head reels when in a large room, the brain seems to be gone, vertigo, constant protrusion and retraction of the tongue, and is inclined to gape and cry.
Phosphorus element—The debilitating symptoms and diseases of Phosphorus are keynoted by the insidious onset, gradually increasing debility, followed by a sudden slide into severe prostration. This pattern often follows on the heels of a serious emotional shock of some sort.
This is a very unique and very synergistic combination whose focus is on tension that manifests predominantly in muscle structures all over the body. Each remedy, while affecting the entire system both mentally and physically, has a special affinity for a specific muscle group and the emotional pattern of the grouping. Thus there is something in this remedy for symptoms from disturbed heart rhythms, high blood pressure, diarrhea, sweating, trembling, cold hands and feet, headache, and clumsiness.
Secale cornutum— Restless, anxious, suspicious of people and situations-particularly relatives and formerly close friends, and activities. This remedy is often prescribed for such symptoms as described above that came on after childbirth, miscarriage, or other situations in which there was a great deal of blood loss.
Cerebellum porcine—translated from Latin, this energetic remedy (no physical bit remains, which is true of both Blessed Waters and homeopathic remedies) is derived from the cerebellum portion of a pig’s brain. The cerebellum plays a central role in maintaining gait, proper stance, balance, and the coordination of goal-directed and complex movements. Therefore, cerebellar impairment manifests as clumsiness and “drunken” gait. Of course, stress and tension always make matters worse. This remedy addresses those issues.
Acetylcholinum hydrochlorium—has a profound effect on the parasympathetic nervous system as this branch of the nervous system relates to muscle action throughout the body. Remember, the heart is also a muscle. The hydrochloricum component also extends the action of this remedy to the blood vessels as needed.
These light-based, similar to homeopathic, remedies are very much for the emotions, although, of course, there are physical symptoms as well.
Generally, there is slow physical and social development which is accompanied by advanced and precocious intellectual capabilities. Both children and adults are easily bored or distracted by any activity around them. A distinctive aspect of this remedy is a lack of imagination. Even in children, there is a pronounced ability for advanced intellectual skills but a lack of creativity or ability to imagine. Learning comes “line-upon-line” and “precept-upon-precept” with learning accomplished only from material that is presented in a systematic fashion that makes sense to them!
The beauty of this remedy lies in its ability to assist with communication between head intelligence and heart intelligence. Downey Avens can be utilized to instill patience with teaching styles different from the child’s or adult’s own way of thinking. This remedy can make it easier to function and learn within the established parameters of the classroom. Steady, progressive intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth will be seen with the proper use of this remedy.
Positive Qualities: Balance and communication between head intelligence and heart intelligence. Wisdom derived from learning “line-upon-line”, and “precept-upon-precept”. Patience with the learning process. Steady, progressive intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth. Patterns of Imbalance: Slow physical development with advanced and precocious intellectual capacities. Easily bored or distracted. Lack of heart connection to others. Lack of imagination. ADHD. Autism.
This is a remedy from the Butterfly/Moth category and, of course, comes with the butterfly issues of feeling abandoned or suffering from a lack of limits—perhaps lacking the word “no” in their childhood upbringing and then manifesting a distaste for ‘no’ in their adult lives. It must be remembered, and taken into account that the chrysalis stage of this remedy which is sometimes seen includes hiding away or isolating themselves as much as they can. Loss of self-confidence and fear of being able to finish the tasks set out for oneself!
On the flip-side (opposites seen) of this remedy is restlesness which is especially seen in children and labeled as ADHD, hyperactive, or other learning disabilities. These are very mercurial persons (often children) who have a compulsive need to keep moving and to have others around them moving and getting things done and are obsessed with details!
An interesting keynote is that of deep sadness and mourning and is especially useful for parents mourning the sudden death of a child. The mourning feels less debilitating if the person can simply move faster and accomplish more every single day and into the night.
In 1858, the now-famous idea was postulated that the body is merely a collection of cells, and that medical treatment should be directed towards the individual cell. Dr. Schuessler recognized that certain “cell salts” were of paramount importance to the overall health of individual cells. His work led to the making of these 12, as Schuessler called them, ‘biochemic’ remedies’—often referred to these days as ‘tissue salts’ or ‘cell salts’. Are they ‘homeopathic’ remedies? Dr. Schuessler always answered that question in the negative. But, they were created— and used, for the most part—according to homeopathic principles. Do I consider them homeopathic/BlessedWater in nature? Yes! If it “looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck’ it might just be a duck!
Deficiencies in the body of any one of these ‘salts’ result, always and inevitably, in disease. There are those who claim that every disease and malady of the body is the result of a deficiency of one or more of these ‘salts’. I don’t know about that very strong statement, but I do know that these remedies are powerful healers.
The study of them is both fascinating and informative, and, health-wise, can change your life as the study and use of them has changed my life and the lives of family and friends over many years of experience with them!
The following is a simple and brief list of these remedies, the parts of the body each affects, their function in the body, and a small summary of the most pronounced deficiency symptoms.
One of my favorite books on this important topic is Facial Diagnosis of Cell Salt Deficiencies by David Scott Card. The cover of this book calls it a “User’s Guide” and includes this phrase: “The many uses and benefits of using cell salts, with color illustrations for facial diagnosis.” Both the information provided and the illustrations are fascinating and informative!
A combination of all 12 of the Schuessler biochemic tissue salts.
I can find no indication in the literature that Dr. Schuessler ever combined all 12 of his remedies into one combination remedy, nor do I know who first tried this or marketed it, or who first gave this remedy to me. I only know that over the years I have used this combination for many things with great success and it is now for sale on any site that sells tissue/cell salt remedies.
Of particular note is Bioplasma’s ability to coagulate the blood in a serious, deep cut where bleeding is profuse. In addition, Bioplasma is nearly miraculous in its ability to stop a hemorrhage in birthing women. I could tell you story after story of the miraculous things Bioplasma has done for my rather accident-prone children and neighbors, as well!
Bioplasma is useful in stimulating the body to uptake and utilize the trace minerals that are so necessary for optimal health of muscle, nerve, organ, and tissue cells. Bioplasma also has a stabilizing influence on nerves and nerve tissue and promotes healing in any type of wound or injury

LeVictory Essential Oil BlendI still remember when my daughter, Valaree, came to me for a little bit of help in fine-tuning this blend she meant to be used as a follow-up or in tandem with LeMillenia for children with learning disabilities of many types.
She was looking to create a blend to address the need for these children and their parents to recognize that each step forward when working with learning disabilities or any type of neurological malfunction is a victory and a celebration when working with ADHD, OCD, autism, or any other neurological disorder.
Children with any type of learning or social skills difficulty seem to need physical touch. They generally have the most sunny dispositions and love to hug and be hugged. Physically connecting with others helps their energy circuits connect and flow more smoothly. Remember that confidence and emotional stability outweigh, many times over, early academic achievement in overall success in life. An “I can do it” attitude is the best skill set any of us can possess. LeVictory absolutely shines in the development of that attitude.
LeVictory is an excellent oil for children who have a difficult time moving from the left (logical) side of the brain to the right (creative) side of the brain. It helps connect thought patterns and electrical activity across the corpus callosum. This blend is a perfect choice for the child who sometimes has a hard time separating fantasy and reality. For adults, this blend is very calming and can bring each of us to a place where we can accept what is and who we are without fear of failure or rejection.
LeVictory connects the electrical energies of the brow chakra (linear thinking and analytical ability) with the throat chakra (speech and the expression of emotions). This blend is also useful when there is difficulty crossing the visual and kinesthetic midline or when either silent or vocal speech patterns need strengthening. LeVictory also helps improve concentration skills and attention span.

Carrot Seed Essential OilThis is a very interesting essential oil and too often, in my opinion, its strong emotional and mental aspects are overlooked. Rather, the focus is most often placed on Carrot Seed’s powerful liver-detoxifying and blood-cleansing capabilities and on its many uses for the rest of the digestive system. However, when diffused, Carrot Seed can bring focus and energy to both our minds and our spirits. Put simply, Carrot Seed seems to strengthen our inner resolve, fortitude, and willpower.
In the book I wrote (and keep rewriting and adding to), carrot seed comes up over and over in the Suggestions and Practical Uses section and should probably appear more often than it does as a powerful emotional, spiritual, mentally stimulating, and balancing essential oil.

Jojoba Carrier OilWhile Jojoba is traditionally categorized as a vegetable oil, it is more properly labeled as a liquid wax. Jojoba absorbs deeply and reasonably quickly into the skin. Its properties closely resemble the natural sebum in human skin and helps to balance the skin’s natural moisturizers.
Jojoba is a very stable oil with a very low rancidity factor. It has the reputation of extending the shelf life of other carrier oils to which it is added. It is a bit too heavy for use by itself, except on a small patch of skin, here and there. It is wonderful when added as 10% to 15% of a carrier oil blend.
By itself, or as a carrier oil, jojoba oil aids in dissolving skin flakes and scales while building healthy skin layers in their place. The anti-inflammatory properties of this oil act to soothe the itchiness and irritation of a host of skin conditions. These same anti-inflammatory properties make jojoba an excellent addition to carrier oils that will be used for arthritis or pain from injuries, or the overuse of muscles. Jojoba oil has anti-bacterial properties that appear from studies to be strong enough to prevent the growth of several bacteria strains, including Staphylococcus aureus.

LeAmplify, LeMint Splash, LeStimulateLeAmplify has a light, mellow, slightly spicy conifer aroma that is absolutely delightful and not in the least overwhelming. The two balsam oils in this blend are both known for their grounding and centering properties, making it a wonderful blend for those times when the direction and focus of our lives are changing and we are feeling a bit unsure of the future. Such times? Leaving for school (kindergarten through college), changing career paths, moving to a new area, becoming a mother (or mother-in-law), and a host of other situations that confront us all at one time or another. LeAmplify helps us to feel more resilient and stronger emotionally.
This essential oil blend was originally formulated to be layered with other blends to “amplify” their healing and pain-relieving properties, but it is also wonderful to use all by itself. Layer with LeDeeper, LeMillenia, LeIntensity, LeFortitude, or your favorite pain-relieving essential oil blend to help reduce your pain levels. Pair it with LeBreezey or LeAspire for a wonderful respiratory decongestant. It can even be layered with LeInsideOut or LeJulia for tummy complaints. It is wonderful to layer with your favorite emotional blend such as LeHeartSong or LeBeloved.
The aroma of LeMint Splash is a perfect balance of a tropical fruity smell, the deeper complex sweet woody notes of spruce, and the minty aroma of peppermint. The combined aroma of the ingredients in LeMint Splash is unique in that it anchors and grounds you in the present while at the same time encouraging your mind to look to and rise to the possibilities of the future.
LeMint Splash dispels negative, unproductive thoughts and replaces them with fresh ideas. Physically, the blend boosts vitality and energy levels, making it not only possible but easier to achieve your goals. This oil certainly seems to calm emotional turmoil while aiding with focus and desire to achieve.
As it applies to today’s topic, LeStimulate improves memory and alleviates mental and physical exhaustion. This is a good blend to diffuse when studying. It is also helpful when you are feeling run down, depressed, or just need a boost of energy and vitality.
LeStimulate contains only two ingredients—one from the spice family and derived from clove buds, and the other from the fruit of the lime tree. Let’s take a minute to relate why it is important in essential oil blending and usage to understand the mental/emotional characteristics of the various types of plants.
Just as the fruit of the tree represents the ability of the plant to survive and thrive to fruition, oils from this stage of plant life can help us be finishers, recognized for our diligence and dependability as well as for our joyful, passionate natures. The emotional energy of fruit oils is very much that of having ‘sufficient strength for the day’, emotionally and physically. In addition, fruit essential oils help us become more able to take responsibility for ourselves and for any project in which we are involved.
Plants that are considered spices are among the most nutritious plants we have been given. They contain astonishingly large amounts of vitamins and minerals. This has been known by herbalists for centuries. These nutrients are utilized by the body when absorbed through the skin as essential oils are applied. Essential oils are made from the part of the plant that is used as a spice. They nourish, heal, and prepare us mentally and physically to accomplish our particular missions in life. The spice oils – and the people who love and benefit from them, are vibrant and full of life. They generally have flamboyant personality styles, just as you would expect. But, sometimes even these vibrant and highly productive persons “run out of steam”. In fact, they often seem to. It is the ‘flip side’ and the result of their basic personalities.
This blend is composed of one distinctive spice (Clove Bud) and one distinctive fruit (Lime). Together they create a synergy that nourishes the nervous system, particularly the vagus nerve. If you are unfamiliar with the vagus nerve, I suggest you type it into a search on your computer and then pull up images. You will be amazed, even flabbergasted, at all of the body systems and places that nerve goes.
