I am so excited about this new monthly Butterfly Foot Zone Focus. I have spent more than 25 years creating and then using Butterfly Products as I learned bit by bit what worked for what during a Foot Zone Session. (I even got a vote on what would be featured in this first month’s specials, ha ha.)
LeMillenia Essential Oil Blend
LeDeliverance Essential Oil Blend
Redmond Clay
Oh, how proud I still am of the creation (and subsequent proven effectiveness) of this very early blend! I had studied and studied and played and played with a small number of essential oils that I had manage to afford and accumulate. The power of this blend, both emotionally and physically surprised me then and, sometimes, surprises me even now!
I begin every Foot Zone that I give with LeMillenia in a two-hand hold that I have used for most of my years as a Foot Zone therapist. I will try to describe it here.
First, I place a few drops of LeMillenia oil on the palm of one hand. Second, I rub my hands together. Next, I dip both thumb tips into the LeMillenia oil on opposite palms.
Then, I cross my hands at my wrists, place the thumbs on the ‘Solar Plexus Points’ on the feet, and my palms along the ‘Spine’ signals where my hands naturally fall with my thumbs in place as described. I will sit like this, with the client’s feet in my hands, until I feel even pulses under my thumbs and a few minutes longer until the pulses subside and the energy feels ‘complete’.
I have found it helpful, if another person is available, to have them stand behind the client with their hands on the client’s shoulders. This position, along with my mentally visualizing it in my mind, creates an energetic ‘figure-eight’ pattern from the tip of the client’s feet, crossing over the navel area, and up over their bodies at the shoulders, and then back down to my hands. I will repeat this visualization until I feel that the maneuver has fulfilled its usefulness. Generally, the client will sigh or show other visible signs of relaxation.
This maneuver, especially when coupled with the Clay Soak described below, is a positively wonderful way to begin a zone session. LeMillenia oil, which I often refer to as a ‘Chiroprator in a Bottle’, shows its strengths in realigning the body physically, mentally, and emotionally when such a maneuver is used at the beginning of a Zone session.
This is one of those helpful and healthful discoveries that I have used for so many years that I can hardly imagine my life without it. In my opinion, everyone should make toxin soaks a part of their routine at least weekly. Whenever possible, I like a client or family member to soak their feet in a small tub of hot water mixed with approximately 2 Tablespoons of clay. (Keep the water hot by adding a little more hot water as needed.)
A foot soak of this type before a zone 1) softens and cleans the feet thereby lessening the trauma and strain on my hands that might otherwise occur, 2) eliminates toxins and other pollutants through the large pores of the feet, and 3) seems to bring the signals (no longer severely masked by hard skin, calluses, and recent medications) to the forefront where I can feel and manipulate for improvement in specific conditions and overall health.
Sometimes, if the feet of the client show signs of possible infectious conditions, I will add 2 to 5 drops of LeDeliverance Essential oil to the Clay Foot Soak suggested above. This may help my client in the ‘killing off’ of whatever fungus or bacteria is creating that visible—and, likely, uncomfortable situation.
In this case, I would add a couple of drops of LeDeliverance to water in a bowl that is big enough to soak my own hands in for a few minutes as a preventative measure. I certainly don’t want to pick up something nasty from this client. I do this both to protect myself, my family, and any future clients I may see throughout the day or evening.
If the client appears to be sniffling or coughing or complains of any other illness, I will immediately diffuse LeDeliverance in the room. In the past, when seeing several clients a day, I made a habit of this with every client.
