In April our topics are cleaning and cleansing. This blog is full of many great products and ideas that you can use to clean your house, do your dishes, laundry, cleanse the air, and eliminate odors. And we aren’t just focusing on cleaning your house. A large part of this blog is dedicated to cleaning and cleansing your body, mind, and emotions. Learn about oils, tinctures, blessed waters, and other products that you can use to cleanse and detox your body, helping you to feel healthier and happier.

Redmond Clay
Redmond Clay is an all-natural bentonite healing clay that has been used for generations. Geologists tell us Redmond Clay is volcanic ash that was deposited in seawater long ago, where it would develop into a swelling-type sodium bentonite clay. This “clay of a thousand uses” is in its natural state with no additives, chemicals, or preservatives.
Redmond Clay is one of those products that I have used for so many years that I can’t even imagine my life without it. I use Redmond Clay to aid in the elimination of toxins, drugs, and pollutants from the body.
It is most often used as a toxin soak, but I also use it on bites and stings.
We should always make toxin soaks a big part of our routine. A whole-body soak is the most common way, but personally, I prefer just a foot soak. A whole-body soak can sometimes leave you feeling weak, wrung out, and sleepy.
Use 2 tablespoons of Redmond Clay in a tub of hot water and climb in. Soak for at least 20 minutes, keeping the water as hot as you can. Alternatively, place 2 – 3 T. of Clay in a large pan (big enough for your feet) of very hot water. Soak for about 20 minutes, keeping it hot by continually adding hot water as necessary. It is amazing how well pulling the toxins through the feet works. It is just as effective as the whole body soak, much easier, and doesn’t seem to make one feel tired or weak. This can be a wonderful opportunity to add essential oils as well.
To use on bites and stings you simply add enough water to make a thick paste and apply to the bite or sting. You will want to let it completely dry. I like to add Lavender essential oil because it really helps with the itching.
Chlorophyll
Chlorophyll is a green pigment naturally produced by plants and algae and it gives them their characteristic green color. It is critical for photosynthesis, the process by which sunlight is converted into chemical energy.
Chlorophyll can function as a free radical neutralizer, helps support the body’s detoxification processes, and has been traditionally used as an internal deodorizer.
I don’t know how many times I read the previous paragraph before I stopped and thought about it. What is an internal deodorizer? If you have smelly sweat, bad breath, or often fight flatulence you may want to add chlorophyll to your routine.
Due to variances in the plant material used, the aroma and taste of this product may vary from bottle to bottle. It may have a strong musty, earthy taste. This is completely normal. Adding a drop or two of a natural sweetener may help.
The three blends and three singles that were chosen for April can be used for Cleansing and Cleaning. Let’s get to know them better.
LeLetting Go is a favorite blend of many people. By letting go of and cleansing negative emotions, we can create feelings of tolerance and compassion towards the faults and foibles of the human race. This includes ourselves. Regular use of this essential oil blend can help us develop feelings of trust, safety, and security.
LeLetting Go is literally what the name implies, an oil to aid us in the “letting go” of negative emotions that we are holding on to in the physical tissues of our bodies. You can use LeLetting Go to aid in the release of anger, frustration, resentment, despair, grief, insecurity, or any other emotion that is not serving you well. This blend is appropriate when your forward progress in emotional or physical healing seems to be halted. This oil is beneficial when used for the rebellious spirit sometimes seen in teens and others from time to time.
Letting go of the emotional baggage that we don’t need can have an energizing and cleansing effect on the colon, kidneys, liver, and gallbladder in particular. Holding on to negativity from the past can be the root cause of constipation. Fear can cause the kidneys and the bladder to function below optimum levels. Clogging in the liver and gallbladder creates a multitude of physical problems.
LePurify purifies and cleanses the air, neutralizes mildew, removes the smell of cigarette smoke and many other noxious odors when diffused in a room.
LePurify kills odors, bacteria, molds, and fungus. This is an excellent oil for cleaning any portion of your home. This blend can be sprayed onto window sills and into corners during the winter months to prevent the growth of molds. It is effective when applied to spider bites and insect stings and can be used for repelling bugs, insects, and mice. LePurify sometimes brings relief from toothaches and dental abscesses; at the very least, it may relieve the problem somewhat until a dentist can be reached.
Some citrus oils and Lavender, all of which are in this essential oil blend, are useful for anorexia and eating disorders because they moderate feelings of insecurity, self-doubt, and self-loathing. For this purpose, LePurify should be diffused every night and as much as possible during the day. Other essential oils, chosen according to the emotional picture of the person, should be worn as perfume or cologne every day.
LeSunburst can be used as a perfume or cologne and added to bathwater. It is excellent added to the dishwater, dishwasher, or laundry. LeSunburst makes an excellent oil for cleaning surfaces throughout the house.
LeSunburst is useful for circulatory problems, varicose veins, and lymphatic congestion. It is a powerful immune stimulant. When used as a cleaner, it retards the growth of mold and mildew. This is my personal favorite blend for use in the wash or in housecleaning. It always leaves behind a wonderful, uplifting, absolutely delightfully clean citrus aroma.
LeSunburst can be diffused to purify the air, remove odors, or just to enjoy a nice citrus aroma.
LeSunburst is a favorite among the citrus blends because it is relaxing and calming, especially for children. This blend promotes a sense of well-being and is an excellent remedy for insomnia. LeSunburst is not a sedative, however. It promotes restful sleep from which you wake in the morning feeling energetic and refreshed.
Grapefruit Pink is used in treatment programs for drug withdrawal and to cope with the after-effects of drinking too many alcoholic beverages. Grapefruit is an excellent cleanser of the lymphatic system and aids the kidneys in maintaining proper fluid levels throughout the body. Grapefruit has a reputation for burning fat and cellulite.
Grapefruit essential oil contains a high percentage of limonene. Preliminary animal studies indicate that limonene protects against pancreatic, stomach, colon, skin, and liver cancers. A study done at Brigham Young University showed an 80% cancer cell growth inhibition. Purdue University reported that limonene helps 80% of carcinomas in breast cancer to regress—with little toxicity.
Grapefruit detoxifies the lymphatic system. This makes it a useful tonic for many body systems. It is specific for water retention and the dissolving of cellulite. Grapefruit aids with gallstones, water retention, and kidney and liver disorders. Grapefruit, diluted in water, can be used as an astringent face wash for acne. Grapefruit can relieve a migraine headache and return the energy system to normal after long jet flights. Grapefruit is one of the best oils for premenstrual water retention and headache.
Lavender angustifolia clears excess waste products from the lymphatic system and is an aid to digestion. It is sometimes all that is needed to prevent or alleviate nausea. Mildly diuretic, Lavender can be useful in alleviating edema and premenstrual water retention. Whether the root of the problem is emotional or physical, Lavender is often effective in stabilizing both high or low blood pressure and regulating the pulse. Lavender, or blends containing it, are used to lessen pain and promote restful sleep. It is useful for babies with thrush.
Lavender can be used for nearly all skin conditions. It can be applied to cuts, sunburns, burns, rashes, dermatitis, eczema, and insect bites. Consistent use of Lavender with burns and injuries minimizes scarring. Lavender, usually as part of a blend, is often used to prevent or remedy conditions of dandruff and hair loss. It is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, cytophylactic, and antispasmodic, making it effective for muscle strains, sprains, cramps, and wound healing.
Lavender is a gentle, but effective, sedative and nervine. It can bring relief from anxiety, panic, hysteria, emotional and mental fatigue, headaches and migraines, and insomnia.
Lime essential oil is said to soothe broken capillaries, stimulate the muscles around the eyes, brighten a pale, dull complexion by removing dead skin cells, and is capable of tightening skin and connective tissue.
This is a good oil for digestive difficulties, particularly gallstones and gallbladder inflammation. This oil is recommended for liver deficiencies and liver cleansing in infants and children.
Lime stimulates the immune system to increase the production of leukocytes that aid in fighting infections. It is also used to stabilize blood pressure fluctuations.
Lime essential oil is a perfect choice for the very weary—those who are so weary of trials and troubles that they feel far older than their years on earth would indicate. The lively fragrance of Lime is stimulating and refreshing. It can help one overcome exhaustion, depression, apathy, and listlessness. Good oil for improving memory and concentration.
Lime oil works extremely well in removing gum, wood stain, oil, and grease spots from clothing.
LivN Essential Oil
LeLivN is a blood and liver cleansing blend. LeLivN is designed to digest and eliminate fatty cells and their load of toxins from the liver. The cleaner internal environment created by LeLivN ensures that the new cells created in the liver are healthy and better able to carry oxygen and nutrients to the cells of muscles, organs, and connective tissues. The effects of the extra nutrients and oxygen in the body are far-reaching. A healthier liver, cleaner blood, and healthier cells result in the lowering of cholesterol and triglyceride levels and can have a positive influence on type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance. Rosalina Essential Oil
Sometimes called Lavender Tea Tree oil, Rosalina combines the calming, soothing nature of Lavender with the strong antimicrobial properties of Tea Tree. Rosalina is from the same family as Tea Tree but is gentler, sweeter, softer, and has a milder aroma. Rosalina is gentle yet powerful and can assist to address both the physical and emotional aspects of an illness.
Rosalina oil has strong antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Historically the Australian people have used Rosalina oil for herpes, acne, boils, ringworm, and athlete’s foot. It has been used to treat acne, and help to soothe and heal the skin as well. Rosalina has immune-stimulant properties and can be useful for insomnia as it is a sedative.
Rosalina is said to be an excellent oil for respiratory tract congestion and infection. It is a gentle expectorant and is gentle on the mucous membranes as well as the skin. Rosalina is a great oil for kids and many people use it in place of stronger oils like Tea Tree and Eucalyptus when dealing with small children. It is a great substitute for anyone who feels that Tea Tree is too harsh aromatically or energetically.
Rosalina oil is wonderfully relaxing and calming. The emotional aspects of this oil help build and support self-confidence, encourage self-love, and are grounding and centering.
Detox Blessed Waters
These Detox Blessed Waters can offer excellent support in the detoxing process, as the remedies stimulate the body’s own natural elimination. Blessed Waters can reinforce the body’s natural ability to remove toxins and waste by-products, without harmful side effects. They can also be used to help the body to find and eliminate specific kinds of toxins stored in the body.

There are 15 of these combinations and each one has specific things it can help us detox from such as mercury poisoning, MSG, aberrant cells and tissues, toxic ingredients of vaccinations, allergies to penicillin, chemical additives, environmental toxins and poisons, industrial solvents, asbestos, etc. I believe these remedies are worth having in your first aid kit. They should be studied and used when needed. I wanted to put in-dept information here but it would have made this blog extremely long. Neem conditions and repairs cuticle damage, prevents baldness, and is said to slow the graying of hair.
Neem is antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic, parasiticidal, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant, regulating, and moisturizing. Neem has many beneficial phytochemicals that boost the immune system, combat inflammation, and is said to interfere with the development of cancer cells. Ongoing studies show that Neem may suppress or cause the death of cancerous cells.
Neem has been used as a natural insect repellent for centuries. It will repel ticks, fleas, mosquitos, ants, and kills lice and nits when used topically on the hair.
Reset Kit
The Reset Kit is an amazing kit for cleaning the eliminative organs in the body. The tinctures in this kit focus on cleaning the blood, liver, kidneys, and colon. A cleanse done with proper supporting herbs should not cause feelings of discomfort while you are doing it. Cleansing shouldn’t leave you feeling tired, out-of-sorts, or less than alert when you are finished. The trick here is to balance system cleansing and strengthening efforts in the proper proportions. This can be done easily if one pays attention to the signals the body is sending.
The Reset Kit contains 4 tinctures CD, KB, LC, and RC. There is an abundant amount of information on this kit and the tinctures it contains. Listed below is the information for each of these tinctures. Below that, I have listed links to more information on the kit and how to do a cleanse.
CD Tincture
Cascara Sagrada, Chamomile, Elecampane, Lobelia, Marshmallow, Oregon Grape, Plantain, Papaya Leaf, and Slippery Elm
CD is a combination to be used for inflammation and irritation in the digestive tract. It could be useful for such conditions as chronic indigestion, colitis, ulcers of the small intestine, and constipation. The Plantain, Marshmallow, and Papaya Leaf are particularly soothing and healing, keeping any cleansing side effects milder than might otherwise be. CD is effective as a mild colon cleanse. I recommend using it 3 or 4 times every year for a week or two just to keep the colon healthy and efficient. As always, be sure to support the liver and the kidneys whenever you are doing a colon cleanse of any kind. KB, LC, RC, and this CD formula together make a good all-around cleansing program. Use 15-20 drops every 2-4 hours for as long as is needed.
KB Tincture
Astragalus, Buchu, Cleavers, Corn Silk, Dandelion Root, Horsetail, Hydrangea, Juniper Berries, Lobelia, Marshmallow, Oregon Grape, Parsley Root, and Uva Ursi,
This formula can help cleanse and strengthen the urinary tract to accomplish the important job of eliminating toxins and waste products from the body. The kidneys also regulate the liquid to solids ratio in the blood and tissues. The KB formula is made up completely of herbs that support and strengthen the kidneys and cellular tissues in general. It has no really effective bacterial fighters. Be sure to use KB with IF (formerly Infection Fighter) or RC (formerly Red Clover Combination) if a kidney infection is suspected. This is an excellent and wonderfully strong kidney formula. Some of the herbs are liver cleansers. I prefer to use KB for a few weeks (with an infection fighter)and then switch to the milder diuretic formula, KT for a period of rebuilding and soothing of the urinary tract. If needed I will repeat this pattern—KB followed by KT—several times until the entire urinary system is operating optimally.
LC Tincture
Beet Root, Bilberry Leaf, Burdock, Dandelion Root, Devil’s Claw, Fennel, Gotu Kola, Hawthorn Berries, Oregon Grape, Plantain, Poke Root, Red Clover, Thyme, and Yarrow,
LC aids the liver in secreting the bile into the colon that is necessary for digestive function. When the liver is sluggish, the result is indigestion, constipation, fatigue, headaches, and a long list of other problems which are somewhat unique to each individual. It is recommended to strengthen and support the kidneys and colon while working with the liver by using either KB or KT for the kidneys, CD for the colon, and RC (formerly Red Clover combination) to keep the blood clean of toxins and impurities. Devil’s Claw and Bilberry are specific to sugar problems associated with liver damage or clogging.
Other herbs that are beneficial to the liver include Wild Yam, Catnip, Cramp Bark, Skullcap, Licorice Root.
RC Tincture
Buckthorn, Burdock, Cascara Sagrada, Chaparral, Licorice Root, Peach Leaf, Red Clover, Oregon Grape, Prickly Ash, Poke Root, Sarsaparilla, and Stillingia
RC is one of the most effective infection fighter formulas that I have ever seen and is my personal favorite! This combination is a particularly potent blood cleanser and is very good at keeping a localized infection from spreading and growing. RC can be used to prevent contagion when everyone around you is coming down with one bug or another. It was even used, in desperation, by a pregnant woman with a wonderful outcome for both mom and baby. RC is safe enough to use when nursing. For the best results, be very faithful about taking RC regularly. Keep the doses as high as can be tolerated by the body and continue taking for a few days after you think you are completely well. Otherwise, any surviving bacteria will be very healthy and resistant. It is always best to avoid a second round of any illness.

Reset Plus Kit
The Reset Plus Kit contains the 4 tinctures in the Reset Kit as well as 2 essential oils, Coconut Oil, and Redmond Clay. The additional essential oils and clay make it a more thorough cleanse kit than the regular Reset Kit. The tincture information is listed above under the Reset Kit. I will list the additional items in this kit with information on each below.
LeIQ Essential Oil
LeIQ essential oil contains Frankincense, Sandalwood, and Helichrysum. These oils are high in sesquiterpenes and cross the blood/brain barrier to cleanse, nourish, and carry oxygen to the brain. This blend seems to dissolve some types of chemicals and clear them from the receptor sites feeding the pituitary, pineal, and hypothalamus glands.
LeRevitalize Essential Oil
LeRevitalize essential oil cleanses the liver but does so gently and steadily. It stabilizes energy levels and improves vitality. LeRevitalize is a good digestive aid, particularly in eliminating bloating, belching, and heartburn. LeRevitalize is good for lymphatic congestion and immune stimulation.
Redmond Clay
Use Clay to aid in the elimination of toxins, drugs, and pollutants from the body by using it as a toxin soak. This product was talked about in great detail at the beginning of this blog. There you will also find instructions on how to use it as a foot or body soak.

Cleaning Kit
Using Essential Oils for cleaning is one of my favorite ways to use them. I love that I am not using harsh chemicals and I know I am killing the nasty germs. I love the fresh citrus lemon and orange scents.
Here are my favorite ways to use the oils in this kit for cleaning and disinfecting.
1. You can fill the spray bottle with straight essential oil. If you are using straight essential oils you will need to get the area that you are cleaning wet before lightly spraying the area with your essential oils. This way you are mixing your essential oils with water on the surface to be cleaned rather than in the bottle.
2. The second way is to dilute the essential oils in the spray bottle. You can use water, vinegar, alcohol, or a combination of these to mix with your oils. The amount of essential oil you add depends on how strong you want your mixture to be. For an 8oz spray bottle, you can use anywhere from 30 drops of essential oil for a light cleaning spray, to an ounce or more of essential oil for a heavy-duty spray. Keep in mind that essential oil and water do not always mix, so you will need to shake your spray bottle before use and in between spraying.

So far I love your products. I have a question and was trying to find a phone number to call since my emails seem to not be getting through. I ordered a small jar of BHM plus salve, it worked amazingly, so I ordered an 8 oz jar, so I wouldn’t run out. The texture of my 8 oz BHM plus is different from my small jar, and dies not have the same effectiveness. Is there a difference in the process used to make the larger jar? Do I need to stir the product? It’s fairly firm compared to the smal jar. Please let me know.
